What do acoustic screens look like?
Their double high-quality, powder-coated aluminium profiles give our COUSTdeskscreen acoustic desk screens their elegant look. In addition, the layer of flannel between the acoustic filling and the finishing fabric ensures a perfectly smooth appearance. The acoustic screens are always covered with a plain or printed fabric, depending on your preferences. You can choose the profile colours, the finishing fabric and any pattern you like.
Looking for an original look? Choose the Soundleaves DESK.
How many acoustic desk screens should you install?
The choice and number of acoustic desk screens to install depend on how the room is used, the number of people, and the type of conversations. The number and size of the computer screens you use also matter. For example, placing a frontal desk screen behind two large computer monitors will not be very effective. For this type of configuration, it is better to use a side desk screen, a vertical screen (COUSTscreen), a COUSTbreeze or another product from our range.
Do not hesitate to contact us. One of our technical advisers will be happy to guide you.
Where should you place acoustic dividers?
As the name suggests, acoustic desk screens are always placed on or between desks. They can be arranged in a cross shape or aligned in the same direction. Some desk screens are better installed along the side of the furniture rather than lengthwise. Everything depends on the number of computers on the desks and how they might reflect sound. Our acoustic desk screens are attached using clamps, placed on the desks with feet, or positioned between desks on T-supports.
How and by whom are acoustic desk screens installed?
All acoustic desk screens are manufactured in our workshops in Zwijnaarde. You can collect them from us and install them yourself, or choose to have them installed by our professionals.
What sizes are available for acoustic desk dividers?
Our acoustic desk screens (with the exception of Soundleaves DESK) are made to measure according to the client’s exact specifications. They are often produced to the exact length or width of the desks on which they will be installed. A minimum height of 50 cm is recommended so that the panel reaches at least mouth level for a person seated at their desk.
