Unfortunately, poor acoustics disrupted concentration in the contact center, and meetings were tiring due to the echo.
DEME approached COUST for an acoustic solution.
COUST installed custom-made COUSTwalls in the various meeting rooms: acoustic walls measuring over 5 meters wide and more than 2.5 meters high.
The walls were finished with warm white frames and tightly stretched warm white fabrics.
The result was discreet, but the acoustic impact was all the greater: the reverberation time was efficiently reduced to 0.6 seconds, ideal for comfortable and clear conference calls.
In the contact center, where several office islands are close together and there is a lot of telephone traffic, we installed eight COUSTscreens.
These partitions absorb sound on both sides, significantly improving speech privacy and noticeably reducing overall noise pollution.
Here too, we opted for warm white profiles and fabrics, creating a modern, sleek look that perfectly matched the interior.
A month after the initial installation, COUST Acoustics was asked to return to tackle another meeting room with a COUSTwall.
Thanks to the customized acoustic solutions, tiring meetings are part of the past at DEME group.
The warm look of the interior was retained because the acoustic solutions were seamlessly integrated.
