The problem
The chapel in Namur faced several major challenges. The acoustics were far from ideal, with a reverberation time of no less than six seconds that disrupted any attempt at peace and serenity—precisely the atmosphere that is so important in a chapel. In addition, the glass walls caused practical problems: they made chairs and storage areas visible, which detracted from the tidiness and appearance of the space. The customer was looking for a solution that would improve both the acoustics and the visual and functional aspects of the chapel.
