The offices are ultra-modern and exude quality. The only downside was the acoustics.

In the open-plan office, there was both a problem with resonance and a problem with too many people in the same space. In the CEO's office and the staff kitchen, it was simply a case of excessive reverberation, which made these spaces unpleasant to work and eat in.

It was high time for a thorough approach. High time for COUST!

Our solution

A reverberation time of 1.25 seconds was measured in the landscape office. This was reduced to 0.85 seconds by installing COUSTceilings, which were perfectly fitted between the wooden beams on the ceiling. In addition, double-sided absorbent COUSTdeskscreens were placed between the “islands” so that colleagues are less disturbed by each other.

The CEO's office was treated in the same way: with COUSTceilings between the beams.

In the kitchen, a resonance of no less than 1.4 seconds was measured. This was reduced to 0.8 seconds with a COUSTwall with a beautiful print.

Result

Everyone at Rental Pumps is extremely satisfied—both with the aesthetics and the difference in noise pollution. The printed COUSTpanel in the kitchen really completes the space, and the COUSTceilings in the offices are very unobtrusive. But the most important thing is that employees can now work in peace and quiet, allowing them to concentrate better.
