The problem
The Provincial Institute for Training and Education (PIVO) is an important training center for fire and police services. In collaboration with Horecapunt, they not only offer high-quality training but also serve delicious meals in their large restaurant. Although the restaurant boasts beautiful architecture and impressive natural light, the acoustics were far from ideal. A remarkable reverberation time of 2.5 seconds was measured in the room, making it clear that action needed to be taken to improve the atmosphere in the space.
