In 2018, we were contacted by individuals regarding the construction of their home in Keerbergen. They were expecting a reverberation problem in the living space and wished to be prepared already. An excellent idea to contact us! As always, we gave these people the necessary information about our products, the number of m² of our products they would need in their space and an indication of their budget. Now we had to wait for the construction to be finished.
About two years later, they contacted us again: the house was now there and looked great, but it turned out that there was indeed a reverberation problem in the kitchen and dining area, which together with the seating area formed one open unit. Together with the client, we worked out a proposal that would eliminate the reverberation in the kitchen and dining area. In the seating area, the reverberation problem was less severe, so no additional absorption material was needed.
The client opted for a large, square COUSTceiling (ceiling panel) of about 5 m² with some pass-throughs for the cables of the lighting. The acoustics turned out to be fantastically damped with this, and the aesthetic effect of this beautiful panel in the room cannot be denied either. A true eye-catcher with an important function! The result? Very satisfied customers who can now fully enjoy their new home.
