The problem
This gem can be found in Veurne. Restaurant Le Flore is housed in a tastefully renovated farmhouse. What stood out most was the complex roof construction and the many wires of the decorative lighting. The owners received complaints from clientele about the acoustics, but even for them and the rest of the staff, noise pollution began to weigh on the end of a hard day's work.
Our solution
To solve the problem, we installed 5 COUSTceilings (acoustic ceiling) in the same hue as the painting so that they blend nicely with the rest of the interior. By doing so, we reduced the reverberation from 1s to 0.7s - which is advisable for a restaurant due to the large number of people talking at the same time, which gets louder and louder as the number of restaurant visitors increases.
Result
The owners are super satisfied with the result as well as the professionalism of the Coust installers. The COUSTceilings are hardly noticeable, and Le Flore restaurant is now even more pleasant to dine in than before.
